Aron leads Lucrum's real estate investment platform.  He has deep relationships within the real estate industry, including with brokers, lenders, servicers, investors and operators.  Aron has completed over 200 transactions totaling more than $10 billion across the logistics, industrial, office, apartment, hospitality, retail and mixed-use asset classes nationwide.

As a former CBRE executive, Aron had the benefit of leading CBRE Global Investors' loan modification and restructuring efforts for clients with over $5 billion of loans successfully modified.   He assisted CBRE on the recapitalization of existing assets and restructuring and modifications to existing loans (across different loan types and across the asset class spectrum), whether CMBS, agency, bank loans, debt funds or Life Cos. Modifications included forbearances, maturity extensions, loan principal reductions, interest rate and amortization relief, changes to collateral, discounted payoffs (DPO), deeds in lieu, release of guarantor liability and loan assumptions.

Previously, Aron was an executive at CBRE Global Investors and GLP and worked on debt and real estate transactions and fund formations, including structuring, launching and managing funds with over $8 billion of capital raised from 80+ investors globally in multiple funds.   Aron started his career as a successful real estate and corporate attorney at prominent law firms in Los Angeles, New York and London where he specialized in mergers & acquisitions, real estate, investment management, and corporate transactions. Aron has represented various private equity and real estate funds, multi-national corporations and financial institutions. 

Aron holds an LL.M. from Harvard and an LL.B from UCL.

Joseph E. Savitsky

Joseph is an experienced real estate entrepreneur, advisor and manager with a proven track record.  Joseph works with investors in connection with U.S. real estate acquisitions, management, recapitalizations and loan modifications.  Joseph holds significant investments in the real estate market.  He has significant experience operating properties and working with clients on asset workout plans and strategies.

Joseph previously practiced at the Wall Street firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP.  Joseph was a senior attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP in San Francisco, where he represented and counseled individuals and global companies on a variety of real estate, tax and corporate matters.  Joseph is active in public interest matters, and has been involved in many public interest and pro bono cases.

Joseph holds an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU School of Law and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.  He is an attorney admitted to the bars of California and New York.

Ilana J. Schwarzberg


Ilana is an experienced real estate expert who is charged with structuring and execution of the firm’s acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, including underwriting, loan modifications, financing, and operations.

Prior to joining Lucrum, Ilana was an attorney at leading law firms in Los Angeles where she worked with lenders and borrowers on complex managed complex financing and loan modifications.  She has also advised pension funds, private equity funds and developers on numerous financings, acquisitions and dispositions.  She also served at the Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense as GCE in the Office of International Affairs & Intelligence.

Ilana graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in psychology, and earned her J.D. at UCLA School of Law. She is admitted to the bar in California.

Dalia Rotter, Manager - Operations


Dalia assists Lucrum's operations and customer service.   Given her over 15-years of experience,  she oversees Lucrum's office operations, administration and marketing programs.   Dalia holds a B.A. from Penn University with honors.

Bert Haboucha

Bert is a highly experienced work-out specialist and acts as the principal of Atlas Capital Advisers with deep, long-standing relationships with lenders and special servicers.   Bert previously served as Senior Vice President of iStar and Region Head of a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. For 11 years prior, he held the position of Vice President and National Manager of Special Assets at Fremont Investment overseeing a $6.5 billion real estate loan portfolio nationwide.   His responsibilities also included asset management of structured finance and commercial real estate assets, with a high proportion of hospitality, residential and mixed-use properties.   Bert is a member of a number of professional associations, including Board of Directors, REOMAC;  the National Association of REALTORS® Commercial Federal Policy Committee; the Turnaround Management Association and the Risk Management Association.

Jeffrey Simpson

Jeffrey Simpson

Jeffrey oversees all operations, creates the strategic vision, and manages all investment decisions at Arch Asset Management.  Given his active investment style, Jeffrey has lead every part of the real estate lifecycle including acquisition, development, financing, marketing, lease-up, operations and dispositions. Jeffrey was previously the Chief Executive Officer at Greystone Development and previously held various positions at Equity Office Properties and Jones Lang LaSalle. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development and an Advanced Degree in Finance, both from New York University’s Schack Institute, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Delaware.
